Not with my money?

I guess I've been ignoring the fact that the pope is to visit the UK. The first papal visit since ?? Shouldn't really concern me as I'm not catholic.

But it does concern me, any state visit by anyone should concern all of us as through our taxes we foot the bill.

And at a time of massive job cuts and reductions in public spending is it appropriate for £12 million to be spent on his trip?

Forget the fact that he is the head of an institution, that thinks it's appropriate to cover up child molestation, that denies the rights of women to choose abortion, is against birth control and historically has murdered more innocent people than any institution or country........

......oh, wait I can't forget that fact.
