One of the roller girls posted on Facebook that she was going to go to a belly dancing class.....and did anyone want to go? Ordinarily I'd have said no, I have the co-ordination of a dead slug and would have been rather daunted going to something like this where there were bound to be really skinny girls who made it look really easy.
But this was a new class, it was the first one.....and even better that that the music they dance to is much more my thing.......rock and metal!
If you've never tried belly dancing to Aerosmith or Nine Inch Nails you really should........although as predicted I struggled to keep time to the music I really did enjoy myself.
There were only five of us (of all shapes and sizes), but we had fun and I'll certainly be going back again.
If you want to check it out there are classes in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Sheffield, and it is run by Rock it belly dance -
